Can Rahul lead India???

.

Can Rahul Lead India????

For long a hype about Rahul Gandhi's Charismatic personality was created in Media, among the Youth. Television screens were filled with Youth Icon's picture in local train in mumbai, dinner at dalit's house or defying curfew in bhatta pausal or very recently tearing a paper and trying to portrait himself as "Vijay" of Indian Politics...

UP results proved to be Game Changer in Rahul's short lived Charismatic Leader Image. Everything has changed after that. Now even congressmen are doubting and questioning his leadership qualities. He has not been able to show any trait of Good leadership. Indian Media which was once awed by Rahul Gandhi too is now going slow on him. Ignoring him if not completely then to an extent.

No one wants to take risk on Rahul and there are pretty Good reasons behind it. Whether people may like it or not here are some traits of Leader that Rahul has not displayed till today.

1. Intelligence: Labelled as "Buddhu" on twitter, up til now Rahul Gandhi has lived up to this title. Never ever seen him participating in any debate in Parliament or on television, all he does is read out written speeches, that too prepared by someone else. Every time he does a press conference he goofs up - the famous - Itne bade desh mein aise haad se to hote rahete hai (Mumbai bomb blast).

2. Emotional stability: Rahul Gandhi definitely lacks Emotional Stability. After every defeat he sulks into depression and withdraws himself from public life. Failure is part of life and if he is not able to take it as general secretary of a party, how will he react to International Failures once he becomes PM. Although he tries to look poise, cool and calm, he loses his anger quite easily. Rahul Gandhi lost his temper when a student asked him to explain assaults on students and workers from the Hindi heartland in Maharashtra, where his party leads the government.(The Telegraph)

3. Motivating Followers: Rahul Gandhi not once but quite often has failed to motivate his followers. The crown prince of Congress - the youth icon failed to motivate his workers in Bihar, UP, Tamil nadu, Punjab,Goa in recent assembly elections where his party did miserably bad. When he cannot even motivate his own cadre will he be able to motivate country to rise in time of difficult situation?

4. Initiative and Creative Ability: When the whole congress party and UPA II is looking at him to take initiative of leading the government, he has not shown any enthusiasm. He is not able gear up courage to take leadership of his own govt which is enjoying support of all the parties of UPA II. Every congressmen feels Rahul Gandhi has ideas to bring out India from Economy mess, but Rahul Gandhi seems to be hiding his talent for Right time. Rahul Gandhi's only creative ability (of course choreographed by some advt. agency) was seen during UP election, Wearing Angry young man look, Putting up sleeves and tearing Paper...

5. Responsibility and Decision Making: Rahul is avoiding all kind of responsibility. He hasn't taken any post in either UPA I or UPA II and if I am not mistaken he is not even part of any parliamentary board. He is running away from Responsibility. Rahul Gandhi made wrong choices of Candidates in Bihar/UP election only proves his decision making power. A person who has failed to take right decisions in choosing right candidates for assembly election will be able to take major decision as Prime Minister of India???

Rahul may not be Buddhu but he is definitely not a leader material. He and his party need to accept that Leaders are born or created. Rahul is not a born leader, he has no trait of being a born leader except he belongs to Gandhi family. If tried can create leader out of Rahul, but for that he need to come out of his comfort zone. Work as grass root level worker, rather than eating food at Dalits home, carrying plastic tubs in MNREGA projects seriously need to go deep inside India and understand what India is all about. But this he need time span of at least 25 years, is congress prepared for it??? I doubt....
